Default Cattleya Eros (mossiae coerulea X walkeriana coerulea)

Here are the pictures of my C. Eros AM/RHS, which is a primary hybrid of C. mossiae coerulea and C. walkeriana coerulea registered by Veitch and sons in 1895, and if I am to believe the vendor, this plant is a division of the division of the original plant! I gort the plant in the end of may, when it had two small new growths. The plant grew rapidly and about in 2 months was in bud. The flower bloomed the day before, but to my dismay it was first found out by some nasty snail.

Too bad about the snail damage. Still a beautiful bloom.

The snail was certainly eating "first class", still, a beautiful flower.

Love the lip! and you have my permission to spank the snail. "Do not meddle in the affairs of orchids, for you are soft and taste good with garlic butter!"
