    Default Laelia Purpurata Carnea

    Posted a photo of Laelia purpurata alba a while back. Here's Laelia purpurata carnea. They both do very well for me spending summers outside and the rest of the year under lights. My other purpuratas are small, not yet blooming size.

    janet, that is fantastic! Such beautiful colour to the lip...

    I remember that alba you posted, it is a beauty too... as for the carnea, this is one colour form that's been on my wish list for a while... for some reason, every time i purchase a purp, i pick up the blue-ish colour form...

    I agree. I got one last spring, sadly, it died last winter. This reminds me that I need to look for a replacement.
