Default Blc. Mem. Ana? Just Opened

    Name: Blc. Mem. Ana 3.JPG

Size: 150.9 KBHi, I bought this Cattleya in June at a garden center that sells a variety of orchids. The ones that don't sell are put on 1/2 price or better when the bloom is over. I stop in at least once a week to check the sale table out. I got this one for $6. It was tagged Blc. Mem. Ana. It started to send up a spike in August and finally opened yesterday. So I take 1/2 credit for growing it to bloom. LOL I think that it may have the wrong tag. The pics I have seen on the net show a bloom that is purple and white. If anyone knows the true name I would appreciate it. I really don't care in that the color of the flower is beautiful. It is a keeper even if it remains a NOID. Bill

Very pretty, Bill!!!! I give you all the credits for blooming it, as I wasn't able to bloom any of my half price catts... (and your dog is very cute!)

Hi, I posted the original photo on October 29th. Here is a picture I took of the same flower this morning Nov. 29th. Am really suprised at how long it is lasting and its fragrance is still strong. BillName: DSC00293.JPG

It's always nice to find one that stays in bloom a little longer than normal. Great floofie!
