    is NOT also used in the book, Dendrobium and its relatives, by Bill Lavarack. D. macrophyllum is the preferred name.
    Maybe you got this term from a vendor?

    thanks, actually i almost missed this one, i have placed it a small corner where it can't easily be noticed, and last week
    i noticed that it has bloomed so i took out and brought it indoors, im glad that the flowers didn't blasted.

    so macrophyllum is the accepted name then? thanks, actually I labeled it as den. setigerum synonym macrophyllum hehe.

    hi randy,
    correct, last time i told you "setigerum" is the synoym, then i asked jim cootes some time after and forgot to tell you, so again,
    if its found in luzon its "setigerum", shorter canes and less blooms, other details i didnt even ask.

    hmmm, clear now? lol

    what's the culture requirement of den macrophyllum? does it need a temp drop to bloom?
