This clone of Blc Helen Brown is blooming. The flowers are large 6" (15 cm ) across and slightly scented.It has very good substance, so much so that the petals are almost stiff.
The other clone, which bloomed some time ago, looks almost similar except it has smaller 5" flowers. Also the purple colour of the labellum is well demarcated, almost straight across .

Great colors. The top one has better form. Both are nice though.
I love this orchid. Ours is huge and puts out amazing blooms. Don;'t you love the fragrance? Lovely both!

Yes, BD, love the fragrance too. It's very subtle - the type of scent I like. But at the moment it is blooming together with Coelogyne rochussenii whose scent has completely overpowered HB's fragrance.
