Default dendrobium platycaulon var. alba Philippine Orchid Species

I have newly acquired rare plants from our forest, the Dendrobium platycaulon var. Alba. Its very rare, most of this species are green in color. But this time I got a pure white specimen. The picture is not so neat because it was newly uprooted from the canopy...

You should be ashamed of yourself removing plants from the forest

Sorry... Actually, i didnt uprooted them. I bought them by the people who gathered forest products... My point is this, I have to collect all Philippine plant specimens for my conservation efforts... Most of our forest are denuded and the rising temperature of global warming affects the habitat and could be a great threat to extinction... I dont trade plants for money... I am establishing a botanical park from giants to miniatures (Trees to herbs)... Our government has no time for conservation efforts, this is my way of spending with the Philippine flora to treasure them as Crowned Jewels of the Philippine Forests...

It's difficult to manage things that are impossible, collecting all Philippine plants. I am planning to explore the vicinity of Mount Kitanglad and other ranges to observe the wild flora. I would also like to have to look at those plants described by Dr. Elmer Merrill and Dr. Eduardo Quisumbing in their books. Quite difficult to determine to reevaluate (inventory) the present status of the plants they described with no pictures attached.

Hi phil.... im glad someone is doing something to conserve our species. Are you by any
chance affiliated with PNPCSI? I hope that your conservation efforts would be fruitful.

I don't need to be a member to show off my efforts to the public. I found out that in Luzon - DENR are not strict in implementing policies, unlike here in Mindanao, it is strictly prohibited. And my contribution would be is that I would like to voice out to the Forestry Department of DENR to have a mandatory inpection or inventory to each collector or plant nursery or any botanical garden.
