Default Cattleya Chocolate Drop 'Kodoma' x Bc Deesse 'Cartes'

I haven't posted for a while because of holiday things. Finally, I am back home taking care of orchids

This orchid came with a tag: C. Chocolate Drop 'Kodoma' x Bc Delesse 'Cartes'. I didn't find anything on Bc Delesse, one forum member pointed out it might be Bc De'esse instead.
Can't say I am happy with the bloom because I was looking forward to color contrast between red and white. Oh, well... It does have a light scent which Chocolate Drop doesn't have. Is Bc De'esse fragrant?

Geez, Liz, if that plant isn't too godawfully big/tall, you can send that "dog" to me. That is an excellant orange and nice form to boot!

Being a chocolate drop hybrid I'm sure it will be too tall. Liz, I can give that big guy a nice home. I do love the orange color too. I guess I'll just have to add that to my wish list.

First, it's spelled Deesse (no apostrophe). Looking at its family tree it should be very fragrant.

haha... It's potted in a 14" basket, so it's bigger/taller than chocolate drop. It doesn't need repot (done in Sep) for a while, so no division any time soon.

I like orange catt too. I was just expecting something closer to chocolate drop since my chocolate drop is not blooming yet. I have googled forever, but haven't any registered name for it.
