Wow! I've not seen one of these before. It is absolutely stunning. Could you post its general needs? I'm wondering about light exposure and temperature preferences. I'd like to try one if it meets my growing conditions here in the land where it's never warm (Minne-snow-ta)( ). (Though I'm contemplating moving myself and my 80 or so tropical plants to the Gulf Coast where it's a bit more toasty in March! )

    Thanks for the great photo!

I saw one of those at the small show I went to yesterday, beautiful! What growing conditions are needed?

I keep this plant with the Vandas during the summer months. In other words it hangs outside the greenhouse on the southside with afternoon shade and full sun in the mornings. I have a sprinkler on a timer underneath which comes on twice a day for about 5 minutes each. As of the first of November I withhold all water and I keep it as cool as I can. I leave it outside until frost threatens, then it goes into the coldest area of the gh (usually the floor where the air intake is). On nights with no frost it goes back outside. We have a lot of those and it appreciates the full sun it gets during the day. I keep this up until I see the little spikes developing on the side of the pbs, then I start watering generously. The old pbs plump back up and the spikes grow very fast. The pity is the flowers don't last very long, only for a few weeks, but it is worth all this effort. The fragrance is springtime fresh for want of another definition.

    It's just stunning! Great job!
A quick question: I'm almost buying one right now... Without knowing it's actual needs! I've read its a bit similar specimen to Den densiflorum just kinda like miniature which is what I love about it, I just wanted to know if in my growing conditions and climate I manage to rebloom my densiflorum (no greenhouse!) is it possible also for this beauty?
Ps. Rip my densiflorum that was stolen from the yard of our condominium I kept it for the summer while on vacation... I knew I shouldn't keep the name tag in the pot.. Well... Now I got more space on my shelves for some new orchids.
