Yes I believe Den farmerii is native to Thailand
Actually Den farmeri is not only native to Thailand but to continental S E Asia including Indochina, Myanmar, Penisular Malaysia and even to parts of India and Nepal. I have personally collected 3 varieties of Den farmeri from Langkawi Islands and a hill in the Ulu Muda area in my own home state. Most are of the variety as shown in Jojo's photo but there are also the ones with light pinkish petals, and there are the ones with more orangish-yellow centres

Yes, I have seen the ones with light pinkish petals but I personally prefer the pure white ones.

@lanhua ; I doubt your 'pinkish' dendrobe' is a farmeri. The pseudobulbs do not look at all like those of farmeri.

I agree. What you have might be a hybrid. Farmerii has short, fat, angled pseudobulbs. The one you have in the pics are long and slender resembling most cane dendrobes.

However, if the farmerii is as pink as those in the photo well I change my mind and I like them. However most farmerii I've seen just has slight traces of pink and not very definite pink colors.

    Jojo,
you are right it's not an typical farmeri. The stem is around 60 cm tall, but also my yellow farmeri is quite high. The seller has told me, he has imported this plant many years ago from Thailand as Dendr. farmeri. Maybe it's a pink form of Dendr. guibertii which is even quite big.
