    Default Vanda lamellata

    My vanda lamellata surprised us with another bloom... i was totally wasnt
    expecting it to bloom. Also, I got this var boxalli about a month ago in bloom
    didn't want to post photo of it then since its a bit damaged... cant wait for it
    to bloom under my care.

    Randy, it's a Vanda Lamellata var: remediosae? Are the sepals really greenish?
    I see you are also collecting Tillandsia.

    nope its more of yellow.... and yes i love tillandsias as well.... just can't stop killing them tho hehehe. According to Ron mine is the standard form.... as it has flowered before already.

    Randy, Tillandsia like humidity but don't like to much water. A lot of sunshine but not to much rain.

    Love the orchids, but the Tillandsias are cool too. Thanks Mieczyslaw for the growing advice for them.

    You're right Randy.

    Your Vanda lamellata is the original form of its kind.

    They are the most fragrant buy morning and afternoon and also easiest to grow.

    decoy, thanks for confirming which form is my lamellata. the first time it bloomed for it was
    really fragrant, but this time i detect no fragrance at all.
