This is one of two plants I acquired today at the 64th Annual Philippine Orchid Society show which began last Thursday. (See Orchid shows forum thread for my photos of some of the outstanding plant displays at the 64th Annual Philippine Orchid Society Start-of-Year Show 2010).
Although not an orchid plant, I couldn't resist taking a photo of my Dama de Noche shrub (aka Night Jasmine), Cestrum nocturnum at home. It is very hot and dry now here in Manila and the plant has responded by going into full bloom. The whole bush is covered with flowers and the scent at night is intoxicatingly strong. The whole neighborhood can smell the fragrance and has even perfumed the whole house even indoors.
Night Blooming Jasmine, Night Scented Jessamine, Queen of the Night (Cestrum nocturnum)
Great selections! I love the orange one.
