Any thoughts about growing Vandas in zone 6 without a greenhouse?
I do not plant trees in greenhouses should not experience it, but I think like many species of Vanda are light and information on where to plant and you have to water every day, the light is very important to be able to flower Vanda , and you should water the plant for distribution of inorganic about 1 to 2 times a week, there are a few of my comments

Mark E, you might want to try a small vanda type. Darwinara 'Charm' is a cooler growing small plant with blue blooms. Small ascdas might work. As a rule, vanda types like very bright light, bare roots (water daily in summer), and warm conditions. The exception to warm conditions are the vanda minis with Neo in their parentage (for one), like Darwinara. Give it a try! The vanda types I have seem to be hardy, bloom a lot, and generally free of pests and rot. Good luck!
    Thanks, I'll try

Very pretty. I have to wait a while before mine are that big. Really love it.
