Smile about the roots of my cattleya

Hi Shooting Star...I mount my orchids on tree fern also. the only thing that I do different is that I put a tiny bit of spag. moss in back, and a little more on the front, to keep some moisture in the roots. I believe that if you put a little moss ( attach firmly around a few of the roots ) you will see a difference in a few weeks. Keep the moss slightly moist...I mist mine when I notice that the moss is almost dry. Hope this helps...works for me! Betty in Texas

Default about roots of my cattleya

I water only when ALMOST dry. 20-20-20 for growth, 10-30-20 for blossom booster. I use any brand with those numbers. Betty in Texas

I use 20-20-20 to make the plant grow. If I know it is time for the plant to make flowers, I start using 10-30-20. That is called a blossom booster.

To : Culanluasg thank you very much
    To : shootingstar
You can keep moist by watering it more water, and bring it into place with the morning sunlight from 7 am until 10 am, I think you do so within a month the trees will grow new roots
This is the image that I separated and planted with ferns, are covered with a thin layer of moss to hold moisture .
