I love the lip, these sorts of hybrids I like because they are more unique than all those round ones.

Really neat!! But where did the fringed lip come from? None of the parents seem to have a fringed lip.

I'm going to have to agree with Connie. Looks a lot like my David Sander. This is what I got when I Googled BC Nanipuakea 'Dogashima'.

Maybe I photographed the wrong tag?? I will have to go and look. I have the bloom in your photo too. I must have pulled the wrong tag because they are all growing next to each other. Will check and then update the thread tonight.

    Cheers,
    BD

Both are very cool. I have thing for white blooms. David Sander has to be one of the best . I love mine. Only wish the parents had passed on some fragrance.

Connie and you were correct. It is Rhyncovola David Sander. I pulled the wrong tag when I took the photograph. So weird. BC Nanipuakea is in the pot next to it. I just spun it around and took the bloom photo and then took the tag photo so I would remember how to spell the name. Thanks for pointing this out. I hope people did not add the wrong orchid name to their wish list, though the Nanipuakea is lovely too.

    Cheers,
    BD
