    Question No id Catt

One of the frustrating things about volunteering at a city conservatory is blooming a plant with no id. I am trying to narrow this down a little. I am guessing this is a Bc. cross. Would you agree? I do not see any obvious Laelia in it.

With or without a name, an orchid by any name is beautiful.

It is beautiful, but looks like many floofly cattleyas. Hope someone will recognize it for you.

    Cheers,

Hmmm. similar to Mem. Crispin Rosales and to south Esk Catherine. I don't think it is either one, but it is similar to both.

Oh my gosh, I was just hoping for a genus or list of them that this might be, I was not looking for a specific epithet but it certainly does look like Lc. Drumbeat is at least a part of its heritage. Like Bruce said, there are an awful lot of crosses out there and an actual identification could be impossible. Thanks Diamond for the suggestion, more than I could have asked for.
