You're right, Randy. "Walingwaling" has come to be used for any large-flowered vandaceous orchid. And then there's the "walingwaling sa unggoy" for some of the indigenous dendrobiums. Oh well, so long as we understand each other...LOL

I recently took the plant out of its pot and onto a tree. Seems to like its new location better.

What I can tell you for sure is that it is a Brassavola glauca hybrid, may be a primary hybrid. That typical lip and red centre are prominent hints for this parentage, but the pattern of red is quite different than the ones I have seen.

I like it in that tree, Angel. Nice place to grow this beautiful orchid. Hope it is not too far up that you are unable to enjoy the great fragrance.

    cheers,

It looks like a mix of two orchids to me... brassavola X cattleya. It's lovely, and the fragrance is an added bonus! This is exactly the kind of orchid I like to have...Betty :-)

A possibility is B. Moonlight Perfume/Rcv. Green Pixie. These are in fact one in the same grex. The first is (B. nodosa x B. glauca) and the second (B. nodosa x Rhyncholaelia glauca). Moonlight Perfume was registered in 1970, Green Pixie in 2007. Apparently the RHS didn't catch it when re-registered in 2007, but they now show it as a synonym.
Again, not a certainty, but a possibility.

Nope. Just about five feet from the ground. And that bush also has great smelling flowers. So they kinda mix together.
