Default NoID Dendrobium: Violet Lip on White

Another prolific bloomer is this NoID dendrobium. Usually sends out two or more flower spikes at the same time. It has relatively larger flowers than other dendrobiums. Planted where it receives direct tropical sun ALL DAY from April to August.

thanks Bruce. Tried to take a picture of all the spikes at once but they were in opposite directions. Couldn't get a good angle.

Thanks Randy. The photos with dark backgrounds were taken during the one-hour per night brownout in my city. Talk about productivity during a power outage...LOL

Yes Randy, power's on 23 hours everyday. There are days when it's on 24 hours. Luckily Cotabato and Davao are so much better off than the rest of Mindanao. Cotabato City has its own generators. All the other places on the island average around 6 to 7 hours daily without electricity.

Thanks Tami. You're right, the very "white" white does make a good contrast with the rich purple lips.
