    Default Epc. Middleburg 'MAJ'

This is C. Bactia X Epi. phoeniceum = Epc. Middleburg 'MAJ'. I bought this in spike a few weeks ago. It took it's sweet time, but now that several blooms are open it's a beauty.

I've been taking pics again. Now that i've discovered how to use the picture edit that came with the new puter, (yes i'm slow) I thought i'd see how my epc. looked at sunset. I love the color of this flower...

They're are beautiful! I agree that more of us should take pictures of the same orchids at various times of the day to show the many hues that the orchids exhibit at different times of the day due to the changing colour temperature of the light and the angle at which the light strikes the bloom. Mornings and evenings give the most pleasant colours I think.

Your sunset pics show your epc at its best - stronger hues and beautiful texture. Well done, Connie.
