More recent blooms, opened about a week ago.

The first one was sold as V. Masao to me last year, the foliage looks like that
of Masao but the blooms proves that its not... its a first time bloomer for me.
Nearly lost the spike when we had a strong wind about 2 weeks ago that
toppled the driftwood its mounted on. Anyways aside from a few damaged buds
    it came out fine.

The second is a noid den, nobody noticed that it bloom already as it is tucked
away in a corner hidden from view by the Vanda roots.

All of them are very nice and the vandas and mokaras are particularly striking.

Hi Randy. Vandas in any form or color are beautiful...and so are all of your vandas. I particularly like the yellow Mokara.
Anyway, that so-called V. Masao looks more like a V. Hilo Monarch or some closely related vanda to me. I do have one very similar to yours but the buds haven't opened yet. Will post pictures as soon as they open.

Angel, yes i do agree Vandas are among the most beautiful orchids and so much easier to
care for as well. Anyways, thanks for the possible ID of my supposedly V.Masao, I have
done a quick google of the name it does look quite similar but I'll reserve judgment until
    i get to see your's

Hmmm .... I think that is a V. Masao hybrid and not a pure one. I used to have one just like it but it died due to crown rot and I threw it out with the tag so now I don't remember the exact cross (V. Masao x something).
