    Default Home Vandas in bloom

My Vandas growing outside my townhouse window are in bloom probably because of the rainy season here. These are my Vanda Rev. Masao Yamada "AM/AOS" with an unknown yellow denrobium noid having 6 spikes although only 2 spikes have fully opened as of this pictorial.

I couldn't take close-up photos of the flowers because the plants are up on the second-floor outside my window which means that I would need to climb up the roof to take close-ups which I'd be reluctant to do 'coz all the neighbors and people passing on the street would surely stare at me and wonder .... "What the heck am I doing on the roof or think I'm might be going nuts or worse maybe think that I might jump off the roof!" LOL!

I have also taken photos of 2 of my strap-leaf vanda hybrids in bloom although they are blurry. I was standing on a stool and having a difficult time taking them because of my awkward position and avoiding water on the plants ( I had watered my plants thoroughly earlier).

    Well here goes ....

This is the farthest I could go with adjusting the focus to do a close-up from where I am standing outside the house along the main street. The three Vandas are V. Rev. Masao Yamada "AM/AOS". The vanda on the right has a second spike forming. The yellow and white dendrobium with purple lip are noids. They might have tags but they are way too high up on the window ledge for me to get to access the labels, if any.

Here are the two strap-leaf Vandas I mentioned about. Sorry for the poor quality and blurry photos. I was having a difficult time taking these because of my awkward position standing on a stool and because the plants all around me were dripping wet.

Unidentified Vanda hybrid (tag got lost). Perhaps you guys might be able to help in identifying it.

Nice new look at your home.

Your plants now are too crowded, it's everywhere.
I like the idea like small forest, I missed mine at home.

Thank you Rich. Yes they seem to like the area outside my window where they grow very well but it is very difficult for me to do maintenance work on them like cutting off the dead and/or spent flower spikes because it is on the second floor ledge so I just let them be. The only thing is that the plants have a slight "unsightly look" when not in bloom with all the dead/spent spikes on them.

    LOL!

That is if you can climb onto the roof without being spotted and caught by the neighbors during the daytime or the regular roving nightwatchers at night.

The street outside is a slightly busy street in terms of human traffic so anyone attempting to climb up anywhere on my house will be easily spotted.
