This miniature species is widespread on islands of the southwest Pacific. It can be found in Bougainville, Vanuatu, Guadalcanal, Santa Isabel, the Santa Cruz Islands and in Papua New Guinea on Rossel and Misima Islands. It grows at elevations of 360-2340m. Plant size 6-8cm. Flower size 3cm. I/C grower.
Ooooo....pretty! I am growing a Den, and it is growing very well--I am looking forward to the first spike, but it probably won't bloom till next year. I love looking at the pictures this year! Thanks for posting all the information about the culture as well.
This one is one of the prettiest I have seen. Love it! Reminds me of an orchid bonsai.

Is your plant in moss? I used to grow mine in moss but now they are on cork mount.
