Default Blc Keowee x Schom splendida in bloom

The rainy season here has started and the orchids are happy and blooming like mad.As I am leaving for the holidays tomorrow I won't be able to photograph some of them. Just hope that when I return in a week's time I'll still have some to photograph.

I was able to take some photos today, albeit in a rush; no time to set up properly.

Here are some pictures of Blc Keowee x Schom splendida. I posted pictures of this orchid some time ago but wasn't sure of the parentage at the time.Since then I have confirmed the name of the cross from the vendor.

The tiny moth in the pictures settled on the flower while I was moving to photograph from another angle.

That ruffled lip just really set it apart from other close crosses. Beautiful.
