    Default Dendrobium harveyanum

This species occurs in Burma, Thailand (Doi Suthep), Vietnam (near Dalat) and Yunnan Province in southwest China. It grows at an altitude of around 1100 - 1700m.

    D. harveyanum is best grown mounted under intermediate conditions. It needs a cool, bright and dry winter rest. The pseudobulbs are 15-20cm long and the flowers 5cm across.
The flowers have a nice scent of citrus and honey.

    Hey Tom!

It's blooming right now! Usually it blooms in spring but sometimes, like this year, both spring and fall...

This is by far the best blooming I've had. Ten spikes...

That is fantastic, Thomas! It is nice to know this species can bloom twice a year.

If plants can be male and female...this one would so be a girl! Love the little tendrils! Great pics!

    Thumbs up

GREAT shots like always. The plant is looking so healthy, no wonder you are being rewarded with so many spikes.
