Betty--Oh my heavens, no! At the urging of several people here, I repotted it immediately into bark mix and a pot with drainage. About 2 weeks later, it started these new spikes and the old spike continued to bloom until these buds began showing color. It has been living in my 3 season porch against a south window with high humidity and temps up to 90F.
