    Connie, I love this colour too, though I call it 'grape'. On this particular clone of V Siam Ink, this colour seems to be very bright and vibrant unlike others which tend to be dull. This colour is difficult to capture on digital camera, as I have mentioned. Even through our own eyes the colour seems to be different at various times of the day, depending, I suspect, on the colour temperature of the light at the time of the day.
    Thanks for looking in and the nice comments. I am sure your vandas too will reward you with some beautiful blooms in return for all the TLC you have lavished upon them.

    That was the first color descriptor I would have used too -- particularly for that 2nd pic.
