Twice a day is fine, but water it thoroughly. Your 'sun' hours are okay. That's ample sun exposure already. I'm not very sure but I think I see some "watermarks" on a leaf in the second photo. That may be a sign of dehydration. If that is so, it would be best to lessen sun exposure for the moment or until it has recovered and increase watering.

I agree with Angel, the roots system is not that great, allow the plant to recover first from dehydration than slowly put under direct sun. You can encourage new roots formation by increasing frequency of fertilization (N:P:K 60 or 63) say every 2 days with diluted one. Good luck.

Just be careful when you never expose your vandas to full sunlight, probably they will have sunburn because of sudden change in light intensity and temperature. I had this experience when I move my vanda from shading net to full sunlight exposure. Some leaves will turn into yellow (in worse case it could be brown) or in lesser case they would have black spot, however once the new leaves come, they will be OK, and in my experience it will trigger new spikes. Good luck.

Thanks guys, i will start fertilizing every 2 days now, should i use the KLN root, i use it for my s/h and it supposed to help encourage new roots. I will give it a lil bit less sun from now on till it gets more roots. It seems like whoever had it when i bought it trimmed all of the roots

That is good, Byron. It is best to give some shade at the exact time you're giving it. You are obviously doing great! Betty :-)

Really pretty vanda. I wish I had some fragrant vandas.

    Cheers,
