Default Update to Volcano BLUE - Volcano Queen

A week later to show you how much more intense/deeper the color has become!

    Thumbs up

My Lc Blue Boy has improved its colour since I switched fertiliser and allow more light into my orchid house. Ditto the vandaceous.

I have a couple of blue Cattleya, that I bought small..... and I think are going to shoot out a flower spike soon! This is the supposed to be the right time of year for them....

Out of curiosity... what fertilizer were you using? And what did you switch too? Even thought my plants have not flowered, I am happy to find this info! And would like run some color variation tests, on my plants...thanks

    Camille,
I keep switching fertilizers and formulas constantly and on purpose. I suspect orchids like variety like we do in our food! As of late I have also started giving them effective microorganisms diluted with water in the form of spray/mist. Fertilize often, but weak/not as strong as recommended, they seem to prefer that!

    Cheers, Michael
