    Default Dendrobium biggibum (Lindl1852) D. Phalaenopsis (Fitzg1880)

    Best know as D.Phalaenopsis.

    Habitat Australia(Queensland)New Guinea.
    Temperature very tollerant.
    Medium,well draining in small pots.
    Flowering period Autumn(this one is now flowering).
    Flowering lasts about 3 months.
    Resting period after maturation of the pseudobulbs,during winter,keep the plant on the dry site till new growhts appaer(min.1.2" high)
    Repotting every 2-3 years.
    Typical windowsill or home orchid.
