I just received one of these little orchids in a 2 inch pot. I live in Kissimmee Fl and right now the orchid is on my west-facing screened patio along with 40 other orchids. I mist every day and water more heavily every 3rd day. I so much want this plant to flower. Will it prosper in the heat and humidity of north central florida? If not, could I add to my small terrarium, which currently houses a Ang didieri and Amesiella monticola, both of which are doing well. Thanks

Shouldn't that award be HCC, rather than ACC?

    hi, tmai.

when u say she likes "more shade and cooler temps" than vandas, how does that translate? shade appropriate to phals? cooler temps appropriate to catts? i learned that cattleya light was too much for my darwiniana when IN 24 HOURS she freckled badly. (and if you know, are these freckles permanent?)

    thanks.
