Default Cattleya (Lc) Longriver Compton 'Goldstar' FCC/AOS

Still not quite fully open but still a stunning flower. I had to take advantage of the overcast day because the white is so bright. The flowers measure 5 inches across.

not my taste but still can appreciate the contrast...congrats! It is always nice to have something bright and cheery in bloom during these short days of the season.

Very nice. I'm always intrigued by the variations I notice in the var 'Goldstar' FCC AOS especially the 'splash' of colour at the tips of the lateral petals. They vary so much at different bloomings of the same plant. I notice this on my plant as well as those of some of my friends.
