Talking Vanda lamellata var. remediosae x self

I am sooo proud of myself...but I suppose this is an easy grower. lol I see the other that was posted this morning, a dif. variation...and I love being able to have another grower to compare it with. From England to Florida...the Lamellata's are in bloom. My happy New Years present from my plants... I think it has a nice form...for those of you that go have your plants judged; How do you think this one would fare??

The pink in the below picture is from the grow panel. The LED lights give everything a weird pink glow.

Flowering the same species in different parts of the world is always intrigueing when our weather patterns must be so different ; the most remarkable example I know is when - in another place - I posted pics of Cyrtorchis articulata , when my plant was in flower ( and I have never ever seen it elsewhere, or seen anyone else post pics) and lo and behold, a forum friend in Australia also had it in flower - now this is quite remarkable. We both had apparently mature flowering size plants, we had both had them for several years, never flowered , and we are in opposite hemispheres - the Aussie one "ought" to have flowered 6 months away from mine. After that, Florida to Dorset seems quite normal !

It is odd. They must have an internal clock. The vendor I bought mine from has several in spike right now as well.

This is one of my favorite vanda species, its very easy to grow and very fragrant aswell.
Unfortunately my lamellata var remediosae died in last year's summer, and I havent had
the chance to replace it yet... but for the meantime, I have a lamellata var boxalii in spike.
