    Default Dendrobium mutabile

I have got this for a few years already but I am not sure about it's ID. The nearest I got is Den. mutabile but those I saw in the net are either white or purplish white. Mine is yellow. Anybody can confirm this?

I like the multi-petaled form and the yellow/cream color. Very nice Dendrobium. AL

Hi Al, am I being thick ( celebrating New Year, a little early...) ? But what does multipetalled form mean . Looks like the usual number to me, or am I missing something ?

Geoff; If you look and the third photograph down (the one with the insect in it), I thought I saw layering of the petals, But if you look from different perspectives, as in photos #1 and #2 from the top I could very well be wrong. AL

What we need is a 3D forum, or maybe holography....

The fouinder of one of the Paris (France) nurseries used to do 3D photography as a hobby - way back.... he gave a talk to the British Paph Soc., maybe almost 20 years ago, with these amazing pictures of Paph species - the pouch came right out of the picture and knocked you out of your seat...
