Default Cattleya Picasso x Cattleya Bob Betts 'York'

I've had this for over a decade now and it since it began blooming, it has bloomed regularly for me. It's very fragrant.

Second photo is Bllra Big Shot 'Hilo Sparkle' I meant to post it separately, but couldn't figure out how to delete it from this post. So you have two for one. This one was a purchase from a nice grocery store a year ago and has 4 spikes on it this year. Flowers are large.

Isn't it great what you can pick up at the grocery store? I have taken to look at the floral department's listings first in the weekly grocery ads just because of this! I got a huge cymbidium a couple weeks ago for $30 because they didn't really know what it was.

Both of them are beautiful. Love white cattelyas but have not been very successful with them except for C Hawaiian Wedding Song. Bob Betts crosses have proven particularly difficult.

The registered name of your Cattleya is Lydia Oliveau. I have that one too. It's beautiful.

Thanks Jeff! As I said, I've had it for a long time--probably came from a chicago area grower--and it took several years before it bloomed for the first time, but now it blooms regularly.
