    Jordan your nice to take care of it for her and being new to this she may be scared of doing something wrong (like killing it). In her eyes you are the expert. Trust me on this...........your doing the right thing by "looking after' her new orchid. AL

    trust me on this too, she thinks they are annuals, and they look pretty. shes not interested in growing them, only flowers lol

    Happy New Year 2012 to all! My 1st orchid of the year is a tiny Dendrobium keiki of Glamour x Gillian Leaney x Bardo Rose. A long wait ahead for some blooms!

    I havnt had any bloom yet, BUT, i do have one in spike, a little Miltonidium that i got from OS, the lady who owned the mother plant had chopped off most of the leads (it was a BIG plant), and gave them away at the meeting in June. And mine has a little iddy bitty spike! YAY!

    Too bad the Xmas Chimes carked it in the greenhouse, too hot i think. Thats fixed now, and THANK GOD they are easy to aquire here!
