Connie how do you get yours to bloom so nicely?

My plant is such a slow grower and has not bloomed since the last 1.5 years even though its in a bright, hot spot in my upper balcony.

I so wish this were mine...but it's Cindy's down South of me. I saw one in bloom years ago...down in the Florida keys. Theirs was not in full sun at all. I'm amazed now it was bloomed out.

Thanks all, I bought this orchid years ago, one of my first bare roots and not a good one at that. I just tied it on a broken basket and hung it on the south side of the lathe house. Took several years to bloom and another several years to put out new growth. But now it seems happy and I have to give it a new basket because it has become to heavy for it's tiny basket.

Gee Cin, I guess it just shows that good things come to those that wait. If this were my orchid after all these years I would probably be quite attached to it at this point. AL
