What is your weather like Jordan? I know you have large elevation differences, but does it go from humid and green in the low country to more Alpine in the mountains? AL

It is green in the low country, but mostly cool, max average in summer is about 32*C, and min low average is around -2-0*C. And yes, as they height abouv sea level increases, it becomes more alpine, and windy too! There is also alot of orographic rainfall, and we get a brutal series of high cells and low cells, from Aussie and Antarctica.
Its pretty much a mixed bag most weeks, sometimes you will have 3-4 weeks (a few summers ago, we got high after high, no rain for almost 2 months...) with no rain, then BAM! you will be thinking where Noah and his ark are.

And when you will bloom your first big flowered species like Cattleya warscewiczii or mossiae well, you will experience an amazing cocktail of grandeur, pride and awesomeness LOL !
