Wonderful form on this one, let us know if it gets darker. It is a common problem with tenebrosas, the ones with good form are lighter whereas the dark ones tend to be skinny. The few dark good form clones have been meristemmed to such an extent that the have started loosing the shape as well.

Is it a bad thing for it to get darker? I should have asked where they bought these...

Gorgeous! I'm envious! I've got one that's blooming size, but I guess I haven't gotten conditions quite right for it to do it's thing yet.

I looked at the other pics...I think the main difference is the way the petals "present". I have had a couple laelia crosses that would roll their petals back until it was just a thin little thing...some apparently like that while I like the more "starlike" shape. And as for the darker colors...I didn't like the latter almost orange ones. I chose this one because the colors, (with the naked eye) is very shimmery...very copperlike. The interaction of colors comes through much better with my cellphone for some reason.
