    Default Meet The walkeriana Twins

I like to have at least one blue Catt. around. I just love these cute Catt. walkeriana coerulea flowers. Bonus is that they smell just as sweet as they look.

They are lovely, delicate, and desirable. I have to get more plants from this species.

Twins! I love it. This is such a beautiful blue orchid. They really don't get much better than this. Lovely!

Thanks all for appreciating these cuties.

Congrats on the beautiful blooms. By the way; how do you grow them??
I grow inside under T5 fluorescent lights (48 inch 4-bulb fixtures). I give the plant as much light as I can. I understand that walkeriana doesn't like to be overly moist, so I let the plant get fairly dry between waterings. In short, just like the rest of the Catt. Alliance that I have. This is the first walkeriana I have owned.

    Easy to grow?
I haven't found it any more difficult than the other Catts I have.

Great shape on those coerulea. Hard to find one that good
Yes, I got this plant last year shortly after it bloomed last year. The seller had a photo and I selected it because it looked like it had decent form for a coerulea. They often don't have great form. Also, it was not overly expensive like some walkerianas can be .
