    Default Bepi. Florida Bay

This plant was given to me with a tag that reads Bepi Gordon Vickers. As the buds developed I began researching bepi flowers because the buds were purple not green. Now that it's in bloom I'd say it's a dead ringer for Florida Bay...time to change the tag. Funny; i'd been thinking about buying a Florida Bay.

None so far...if the mosquito's don't carry me off i'll check later when it gets dark. Maybe the brassavola side will give it scent tonight.

Lovely! Great dark color in this orchid bloom. I bet it is fragrant at sunset.

    Cheers,

    Connie,
For your information one of your plant's parents, Epidendrum pyriformis was moved to be Encyclia pyriformis
The official plant name is now Encyvola Florida Bay.
