    so cute! how easy is it to grow? will it grow ontop of a fridge or tropical fishtank?

    Not an easy one to grow. It's also needs alot of light. Not sure your fishtank setup can provide that.

    haha you would be surprised. I can get a small LED fishtank light that i can clip on the hood of the tank. Provides a fair amount of light and no warmth. Not that expensive either. Someone in our society used one to grow some australian pterostylis, ones that need full sun, and it worked a charm!

    I love the blooms on such a tiny beauty. I've got 3 rupicolous laelias but haven't bloomed yet. I think that I need to give them some more sun.

    I keep my rupicolous laelias about 2 inches from my T5 flourescent lights - I water only enough in the winter to keep the bulbs from shriveling and pour on the water when growth starts. I am thinking of transferring overgrown pots into larger plastic pots without removing the original pot, leave everything in tact - mine are growing in 100% stone so no breakdown to worry about.
