Really pretty Al, I like it congrats for your new stuff.
Oh Al, that is a great looking vanda. The plant look large too!
Al, My 'Cindy Banks' is very fragrant. It smells sort of like grape koolaide. You should get about four bloomings per year. Mine is very reliable.
One of my favorite Vandas. Great growing, AL.
Thanks for letting me know that it is fragrant and thanks for telling me what to expect bloom wise. I will have to grab a better nose than my own to give it 'the sniff test'. AL
I smoked for almost 35 years. Though I quit over a year ago I don't know if my nose is quite as good as many people. Some of my orchids like Aerides houlletiana and Oncidium Ornithoryhncium have smelled big time to me. Others that are subtle I may not pick up on or the times of day I am normally in the greenhouse I smell nothing. Will try the Vanda in question again tomorrow. AL
That's a cute one Al. Love the exotic color too.
O.K. its official. Just minutes ago I stuck my nose (literally) in the Vanda Cindy Banks 'Bill's Choice' flowers and I do now detect the (rather faint) aroma of Grape Coolade. Just add the flowers to water and mix. AL

Here are two better photos of this Vanda and Cathy there are times now when this orchid is a real perfume atomizer. AL
