Lovely. I like the color. I don't have a Sanderiana, but I love it.

My sanderianas are spiking too. I am watering them heavily with my handheld sprinkler like as in a heavy rainfall happening. I do this every other day so early in the morning just before going off to work. When I get home in the very late afternoon or early evening I water the surrounding concrete floor area and the potted anthuriums underneath to increase humidity.

Although it is the rainy season now and rains heavily from time to time, I still have to water because my grow area is covered with clear polycarbonate roofing thus the plants do not get watered naturally when it rains.

    Juzzel,

With your permission to display my plants on your thread ....

Here are two of my plants.

One has a double spike while another is spiking.

My outstanding (show-type) regular and alba (constance and snowcap) forms haven't spiked yet.

No problem sir yours is still sanderiana and won't be an OT.

My outstanding (show-type) regular and alba (constance and snowcap)
I got keikis of both of them and they are very slow grower. One to two leaf per year hahaha. I might consider buying Golamco's alba sandies if I lost my patience

If you don't mind can you direct me to a reputable alba sandie seller at reasonable price? Even non-show type would do as long as it's alba var.

Forgive me for my ignorance but what do you mean by OT?

The alba forms are difficult to find specially the true alba-green form. Most albas I see sold by local vendors are a bit on the yellowish side and/or stll have some traces of the brownish colors and specks on them and with poor shape.

Derling Alvarez has good alba forms but I think she has stopped selling them and keeps them for her personal collection. Years back her stall at the MSBF compound used to sell some very good plants specially when her former (gay) attendant was the salesperson at her nursery shop. When that attendant left her nursery for another job elsewhere and a lady clerk replaced him ... nowadays the good plants are kept for personal collection and the not-so-showy types of plants are the ones being sold out. ... and expensive.

This might be a sample of what you are describing - this is my own plant and I doubt that this is alba sandie.

I bought this from Mrs. Alvarez.
