Default Bl Richard Mueller x Laelia aurea

Actually somewhat disappointed in this one. It is easy to grow, true, and did bloom well. But Mueller crosses are rather famous for the flowers starting out one color (usually some sort of red hue) and then changing to yellow as the flower ages. Unfortunately, this one pretty much opens yellow and stays that way. I found it rather a bit of a let down as I really like the color changes most Muellers undergoe.

I think that it's very pretty, Paul. I really like the deep red center...Betty :-)

Cute blossoms. I like the red too. Sorry there's no color change.

Apart from the color change (which is not a deal breaker for me LOL), I think it is a wonderful plant, with a great form and color and the hint of maroon in the centre.

I can take it off your hands so you can make room for a color changing one
