Default Cattleya Leafwood Lane 'Limelight' - a golden oldie

Registered 1973 . I bought it from the collection of a deceased grower, and as so often in those cases the compost was terrible - near dust - and the plant not in good condition. One year on , it has a new set of roots, and a cane 3/4 the height of the last one, but nice flowers , if a bit old-fashioned.
I'm not too sure of the name - it ws labelled Leafwood "Limelight" - and after looking at Orchid wiz i thought this the more likely of the two possibilities. But since it was a US cross, maybe someone here still has it, and can correct me - the alternative btw is Leafwood Jade 'Limelight' - but that is a BLC and I can't see any BLC here.

Looks like it should be fragrant. Definitely a 'limey' green.

Not sure on the name either, but the green and white orchid blooms are brilliant! Wish it was in my collection too. So pretty - I could enjoy it for hours.

    cheers,

Looks a lot like Lc. Leafwood Lane 'Limelight' (Lc. Lagoon x C. guttata). There is NO Lc. Leafwood Jade 'Limelight', at least on AQ. Leafwood Jade is Leafwood Lane x Blc. Chinese Jade. Both (Lane and Jade) are very similar but Jade usually have some color on the lip. There is a strong C. guttata influence here. I would stick with Lc. Leafwood Lane 'Limelight'. Next growth should be taller with larger and more flowers. Always loved green.
