My miracle specimen cattleya is finally begging for a rest - it has a lot of roots to grow and a lot of new growth to work on. One thing it DOES NOT have to do is go through the shock and trauma of repotting and division - already weathered that storm.
I'm posting the last good photos I have for it, just in case....
The single bloom is from a lone bud that didn't drop before I brought it home - looked like a serious no-go - and put on a show anyway. THIS is why I'm so obsessed with my orchids!
The cachepot it's in is from a thrift store - couldn't BELIEVE it when I saw it.
So, the catt-rescue saga ends for now, but it was fun while it lasted - thanks for following along!
