Red face Another mini vandaceous - Rhyhcorides (Rhrds) Thai Noi x V tessellata

This is the first rebloom of this vandaceous plant, one of the plants I got as a birthday present from my wife in June. She liked it because she said it was cute and the flowers had a faint fragrance -( also it was on my wish list, conveniently left on my computer table where it could be easily seen .Hehee .)

Rhynchorides Thai Noi is Rhy coelestis x Aerides flabellata. I was expecting more flowers but this blooming has 7 flowers and one bud. It's improving because the first time it had only 5 flowers. The plant is relatively small 5 inches tall to the V at the top. The flowers measure 2 inches across.

I believe it has been named Perrieraara Michelle Genovese but not sure.

It's sweet. I like the color and the fact that it is so small. That can be very useful in my windowsill. That was a good job Jew. Leaving your wishlist on the computer table. It did work. Congrats.

very rarely i get to hear from my friends saying "look here Ian, guess what my wife/hubby got me as a birthday present, an orchid from my wish list!!".

Hehehehe. You know your tessellata crosses have inspired me to look for more of them. Until I saw your Mimi Palmer crosses I thought they would never break the colour barrier. Thanks.
