Love it Yew. It's so sweet. The blooms are so tiny, but because there are so many they do look great.

The blooms are not tiny, Willeke. They are the normal kagawaara size. The plant itself is huge about a metre high. I had to use a telephoto lens for this Diinesh Gold because i was about 10 metres away. Sorry I didn't mention this before. Another thing - the blooms and the branching spike are more like the renanthera parent.

Incredible photos of your present Kagawara and also that large over flowing cascading orchid from 2005. I hope you see this Kagawara thrive and grow healthy once more Yew. I know it will be a while, but I will interested in its progress. Please post more on this orchid when you deem appropriate. AL

I know the plant you refer to Yew, I haven't seen or heard of it since that showing. In fact, yours is the only other plant pic I've seen on the net. The original one is outstanding for its color combination but lacked the flower quantity you have on yours. A much better show.

Yew Sung...Thanks for sharing the photo Diinesh Gold. I wish we had access to this plant in the states. It really isn't available as readily as the other Kgw. and all of those are red.
    Fantastic photos, as always!

Thanks everyone for looking in. Kgw Diinesh Gold is Ren Kalsom x Ascda Madame Kenny but none of the crosses using these parents have produced flowers resembling the 'original' Diinesh Gold. Most have produced flowers looking like mine, thus there have been doubts regarding the parentage. So Sandy Gold, though not registered is widely used in Malaysia and Thailand instead. Valid? Hmmmmm
