Always loved your photos Thomas and of course this orchid is awesome. Love the striking lip against pristine white petals.

As usual lovely picture and beautiful orchid, Thomas!
Tom, how low do you let your temperatures drop in winter? Just curious how you folks manage to grow all these orchids with varying temperature requirements in Winter

Day 62~65F, Night ~55F. for the winter.
I put most of my Dendrobiums species from formosa section out in the yard from spring to early fall. For these months, I will classify the temperature as intermediate to warm. In wild, this group of Chinese Dendrobium species experience warmer monsoonal climate, then much cooler and drier winter. Light level is the strongest in winter also.

People have cool growing area/GH and warm growing area/GH and something in between. Your intermediate growing area may have cooler spot and warmer spot(AKA micro-climate)...There are cool orchidarium and warm orchidarium too.....I often hear someone say I can't grow this and that because he/she lives in the south like FL..."Oh, yes, you can if you really want to grow them."
