    Smile Dendrobium White Grace 'Sato'

I bought this recently online and when it arrived I was so suprised! I guess I thought any speciosum cross would be small...wrong. This is the biggest pseudobulb on a dendrobium i've ever seen. And the flowers are much larger than I expected. And while it's one of the prettier dendrobiums...it's not for those with small growing spaces! I found a third spike growing on it today...I hope it blooms this nice again next year!

I have a ton of dendrobiums spiking right now...but i'm guessing this one will end up one of my favorites.

Love your taste, Connie! I bought the same orchid about a month ago and like you was really suprised at the size. The blooms are more than I imagined they would be. I love the size and the purity of the white. The plant is beyond belief in size and health and like yours mine has another spike forming. The seller is one of the best I have found. I don't like it when others post pics on someones thread and never do it but since neither of us grew these to bloom I hope you don't mind my adding pics of mine for comparison. Thanks for sharing yours.

I don't mind people adding to my posts. When you have a plant I do...it gives me a chance to see someone else's plant and if theirs is better you know i'll be asking for advice on how to get mine to grow better. If there is a way I can get mine to produce better...I wanna know! lol And I totally agree about the seller. They are great for plants. Mine has a nice new growth coming along nicely as well. I try to get a few every so often. One week I overdid it and ended up with 5! lol Oops...

Goodness Connie!! That orchid cane is huge! I can see from the display of flowers why it is called white grace.

    cheers,
