Default Dendrobium orchid in full bloom. Nosey neighbours exposed!

Although the dendos are often the first to decline in my care like paphs, this one blooms vigourously on each cane and is so common but when we wait patiently for those others to reward us this darling keeps me amused acting as a gap filler if you like and I do have a soft spot for it. i never feed it direct to pot and survives off what it get s from overall misting. Canes have been giving away as new plants to neighbours/ visitors who choose to make a compliment (with motive) im sure. Will start to become a little more cautious when im pottering by the window area.

Most of my orchids bar a few are noid as I discard labels with packaging incl this one.

The small white one was given to me last fortnight by the lady in the house opposite in the photo because of toxicity concern. her pet birds eat it. Need to intercept her family and friends so i can hint that they should buy more for her.lol

Those are absolutely gorgeous. That is one of the dendrobium types I don't do well with.

WOW, Jason...that is a lovely orchid! Why on earth are you throwing away the name/names of your orchids? I would surely love to know the name of this one...Betty

Lovely dendrobium blooms. When I saw your photo after reading only the title for the thread, I expected to see one of your neighbors peeking into your window there to get a look at your orchid blooms. hahaha....

    cheers,
    BD

Good call Jason, almost doubted if I posted this or not.! Sorry Betty but the names are of no importance to me on general orchids that I just like for blooms, form, colur etc. I just make a space for them and treat like the others. I retain the names for my favourites which are the stans, gongoras, ctsm, mormodes etc. Good point though Betty for forum purposes, but am confident a noid orchid can be labelled almost instantly on here, which is why i not concerned for my benefit. BD- am slightly relieved that they cannot do that lol, as giving half a chance Im sure it would occur but only the window cleaner can do this as orchids are upstairs. I have a high risk level of plants downstairs being infected by spidermite with all the traffic etc but have never had a prob since upstairs became the nursery/garden centre and ofcourse a cautious cross contamination regime helps.
